Purity & Verification
This page is for peptide purity verification (Janoshik). For Visual SmallMol quality control (e.g. small molecules, oligos), use your preferred third-party lab.
Third-party testing is the standard for verifying peptide purity and identity. We recommend using an independent lab before sourcing peptides.
For procurement or QC: enter a report's task ID below to open the lab's official verification page. See guide: Purity and sourcing
Verify a report
Enter the task ID from your Janoshik report (e.g. on the report PDF). We'll open the lab's official verification page for that ID.
- Enter the task ID from your report (top of PDF).
- Click Open verification page to go to Janoshik's site.
- On the lab page, enter your verification key if prompted (from the same report).
- Confirm that the content matches your report; if it does not, do not trust the report.
No verification key? Use the general page: janoshik.com/verification. We do not store or validate reports; verification is done on Janoshik's site.
Janoshik Analytical
Janoshik provides HPLC purity testing, mass spectrometry (identity), and potency testing. Reports include a unique task ID and verification key so you can confirm the report has not been altered.
- Purity (HPLC) — ideally 99%+
- Identity (mass spec)
- Potency (actual mg per vial)
- Blind testing available (vendor not informed)
Public results database
Janoshik hosts a public database of test results by peptide type and vendor. Search by peptide or vendor to see if a batch has been tested.
public.janoshik.com →We do not run tests ourselves; always verify via the lab's official site (e.g. task ID on Janoshik) and follow your institution's or jurisdiction's requirements.
